Through exceptional engineering, quality and customer service, Black Crater LLC is dedicated to bring unique products to market that enhance your time and safety outdoors.  We work closely with an alliance of manufacturing and engineering partners to provide our customers with innovative product solutions found no where else.

We take our name from Black Crater a steep sided shield volcano in the High Cascade Range of central Oregon, located north of the Three Sisters and east of McKenzie Pass.  Ice Age glaciers carved a large cirque into the north flank of the mountain, and snow often lingers in its shady depths until late summer.  A trail head to the summit; 7,257 feet (2,212 m) to a rocky outcrop with high views of North Sisters, Mount Washington, and the McKenzie Pass Lava flows.
